With a record of 3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Gerd Stenner!
The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Franklyn Lucas and Alyssa Summers.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stenner misses with a double jab
and Stropolis counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Stenner connects with a jab.
Stenner misses with a combination
and Stropolis counters with a right hand to the body.
Stropolis avoids a punch combination nicely.
Stenner throws a left and a right that both miss
and Stropolis counters with a stiff right hand.
Stenner misses with a wild combination.

Stropolis gets the takedown into side control.
Stropolis controlling from side mount.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Stropolis advances nicely into full mount.
Stropolis tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Stropolis gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks!
A combination from Stenner does no damage.
Gerd Stenner is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Stenner bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Stenner throws a left and a right that both miss
letting Stropolis counter with a right hand.
Stenner checks a low kick from Stropolis.

Stropolis clinches with his opponent.

Stropolis breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Stenner misses with a series of wild punches.
A punch combination from Stenner misses.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Stenner looks to land a combination but Stropolis avoids it well.
Stenner looks gassed!
Stenner throws a left and a right that both miss
and Stropolis cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Stenner walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Stenner takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Stropolis closes this distance looking for a takedown but Stenner circles away.

Stropolis fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Stenner sprawls well initially but Stropolis persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Stropolis seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

Stropolis is trying to work for a kimura but Stenner is defending well.
Stropolis keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Stropolis landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Stropolis tries to pass the half guard into mount. Stenner knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Stropolis looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Pat Stropolis wasn't doing enough on the ground.
Stropolis's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Stenner connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Stropolis scrambles back to his feet.
Stropolis lands with a hook. Stenner tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Stropolis throws a jab but it's blocked by Stenner.
Stenner swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Stropolis counters with a nice uppercut.
Stenner misses with a combination
and Stropolis counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Pat Stropolis dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


Stropolis lands with an uppercut that bounces Stenner off the cage and back into range.
A combination from Stenner does no damage.
Stenner throws a combination that misses

and Stropolis counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Stenner!
Stropolis sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
Stenner trying desperately to get to his feet.
Stropolis lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Stenner hang on?
Stenner is breathing heavily.
Stropolis controlling from the full mount.

Stenner has left one of his arms exposed and Stropolis doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Stenner screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
