Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are William Peck, Yves DeLean and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Costa gets caught flat footed, as Gracie shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Gracie looking to pass the guard.
Costa is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Gracie drops back looking for a leg! Costa is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Costa manages to kick Gracie off! Gracie jumps back into Costa's guard.
Costa wants to sweep here but Gracie controlling him for the moment.
Gracie sitting in guard here, content to control.
Gracie passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Gracie wants to lay and pray for a moment but Costa keeps working.
Gracie goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Costa rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Gracie's guard! Nice work there by Costa!

Costa won't allow Gracie to sweep him here.
Gracie has his foot on Costa's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Costa works his way back into a safe position though.
Gracie wants to sweep but no luck.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Gracie bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Costa's guard.
Gracie throwing strikes from guard but Costa blocks nicely.
Costa wants to sweep but no luck.

Gracie tries to free his leg and advance position but Costa is retaining full guard.
Gracie passes easily into side control. Nice work.

Costa can't do much from the bottom here.
Gracie has hold of Costa's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Costa seems comfortable defending it but Gracie has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Costa is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Costa is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Gracie couldn't care less - he's delighted!
