Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Antonio Mendez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bob Nudd (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mendez comes to the cage accompanied by Danza Kuduro. Bob Nudd has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Antonio Mendez! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 8 - 1, fighting out of London, Bob Nudd! The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Donald Grub and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nudd shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Mendez pinned against the cage. Mendez gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Nice body kick from Mendez. Mendez thumps Nudd with a low kick. Nudd takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Mendez swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Mendez pushes Nudd away with a front kick. Nudd tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Mendez paws at him with a jab and circles away. Nudd shoots in for a takedown but Mendez shows good takedown defense. Mendez lands a leg kick that knocks Nudd off balance momentarily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nice body punch from Mendez. Mendez moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. Nudd throws a combination that misses and Mendez counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Nudd takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Nudd misses with a wild combination.
Mendez throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body. Nudd looks gassed! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Mendez goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Oooooh!!! Mendez has knocked Nudd down with a huge combo! Mendez steps away and waves a wobbly Nudd back to his feet! This one might not go much longer! Nudd lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Mendez circles away quickly and effectively. Mendez thuds his shin into the meat of Nudd's side. Mendez feints a jab promting Nudd to slip. Mendez then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Nudd slips again and ducks right into an uppercut. Mendez bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick. Nudd misses with a combination
and Mendez counters with a nice low kick that buckles Nudd's knee momentarily. Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Mendez! Nudd is out on his feet! Mendez rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Nudd is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Nudd is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Antonio Mendez! During a confident post fight interview, Antonio Mendez thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
