Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, Dean Smedley!
The judges for this bout are William Gold, Paul Tew and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vale tries to clinch but Smedley is having none of it.
Smedley gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Vale to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Smedley working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Vale.
Vale trying to control but Smedley is working from the bottom.
Vale is looking to stand up but Smedley won't let him.
Smedley keeping moving, preventing Vale from controlling successfully.
Vale looking to sit in guard and control but Smedley gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Smedley gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Vale tries to clinch there but Smedley circles away.
Smedley swats away the attempt to clinch by Vale.
Vale fails in his attempt to clinch.
Vale thows a leg kick but Smedley checks it
and Smedley counters with a series of strikes that sends Vale to the canvas! Smedley follows down into guard, looking to finish the fight!
Vale is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Smedley postures up.
Smedley stops Vale from standing up.
Vale is working an open guard so Smedley takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Vale tries to clinch up
and Smedley counters with a series of strikes that practically lifts Vale off his feet! He tumbles backwards, his head bouncing off the mat - Smedley follows up with more strikes before the ref can step in but Vale was out before he hit the floor.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Dean Smedley!
