Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, I Duddits! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Michael Evans! The judges for this bout are James Glass, Chris Edwards and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Evans shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Evans tries to score a power double leg takedown but Duddits sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Evans somewhat. Evans shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Duddits preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Evans working some strikes from top position. Evans is stalling in the full guard. Evans throwing strikes from guard but Duddits blocks nicely. Evans forces his way into half guard. Evans has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Evans not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.

Duddits is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
Evans wants to control the pace but Duddits is squirming around nicely. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Duddits is really trying hard to get back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Evans raining down hammerfists from mount. Evans takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Duddits is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
Evans raining down shots from the mount! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Evans lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Evans has control of Duddits's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Duddits regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Duddits knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Evans on the ground. Evans punishing his opponent with strikes. Evans lands a big elbow. Evans is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Duddits to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Duddits shrugs it off. Evans working away from the top, dropping strikes. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Duddits is squirming around, avoiding Evans's attempts to control the action. Evans with a couple of short strikes.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Evans putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! Evans landing punches. A nice elbow there by Evans. Duddits is squirming around, avoiding Evans's attempts to control the action. Evans scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Evans lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. Oooooh, big shot lands for Evans! Duddits is hurt baaadly! Evans is firing away with more strikes - Duddits is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!
