Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jake Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Spanch Bob (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Spanch Bob is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jake Smith! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Spanch Bob! The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Columbo Gatti and Lou da Vinci.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Smith drives through with a takedown into Bob's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Bob is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Bob slows the pace down in half guard. Bob prevents Smith from standing back up.
Bob controlling the action here. Smith on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Smith tries to get out of the position. Smith is looking to escape. Bob content to control rather than advance.
Spanch Bob has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Smith decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Bob is concentrating on defense, preventing Smith from advancing position. Bob gets full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bob seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Let's hope that Bob has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Smith decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Bob, up you get! Smith stuffs the takedown. Bob has his takedown stuffed and Smith counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Bob goes for a takedown in the clinch but Smith prevents it.
Jake Smith has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Spanch Bob. Bob is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Smith is defending well. Bob goes for a takedown in the clinch but Smith prevents it.
Smith has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Bob clear over his head and slammed him to the mat! Bob breaks Smith's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
Smith will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Bob prevents Smith from getting back to his feet. Smith is breathing heavily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Bob stays in close to Smith's body and controls the position. Bob stops Smith from standing up. Bob sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Smith's guard. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Bob in particular looking to stall. Bob's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Smith tries to push off, looking to stand up, but Bob manages to move to mount!
Bob moves to the back. Bob slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Smith has the hand control, trying to stop the rear naked choke. I would not like to be Smith right now.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Spanch Bob wasn't active enough on the ground. Bob misses with a takedown so Smith counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Bob managing to control the position. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Bob is on top in guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bob stands and throws Smith's legs to the side, diving into side control. Bob controls the position from side control. Smith wants to get back to his feet but Bob drags him back down. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Bob controlling the position from side mount. It looks like Bob might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Spanch Bob dominated that round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Bob shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Smith counters by clinching up. Smith pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Bob shoots in for a double leg but Smith sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Smith throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Nice takedown defense from Bob. No joy for Smith on that attempt. Bob shoots and misses and Smith decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Bob's guard. Jake Smith has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Spanch Bob. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Bob is on top in guard.
Smith can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Bob controls the pace. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Smith is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Bob looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Bob passes into half guard. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Smith scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Bob manages to mount him!

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Spanch Bob. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Smith. Smith stuffs the takedown attempt from Bob. Bob gets slowly back to his feet. Smith gets the takedown into side control. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Bob regains half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Bob makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Bob. Smith pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Bob is keeping the position for now.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bob is adopting a defensive guard. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

You can see the frustration on Smith's face as Bob controls the position. This has been an exciting period of action! Spanch Bob has got the better of the ground game so far.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Spanch Bob was stalling too much, according to the referee. Bob feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Bob is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Smith is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Bob is controlling him. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Spanch Bob showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Smith pushes Bob off but Bob dives into side control.
Smith being controlled for a moment. Smith is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Bob has just dragged him back down to the mat. Bob controls the position. Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Bob seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Smith is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Bob dives into side control.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Spanch Bob. Smith slaps away a takedown attempt from Bob, before circling back to the center of the mat. Horrible takedown by Smith or perhaps it was just good defense by Bob which made him look bad. Bob shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Smith but Smith pushes him off and we're back to square one. Jake Smith has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Spanch Bob. No luck for Bob with that takedown attempt. Bob will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Smith scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Bob manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. Bob controlling the position well. Smith is thwarting Bob's attempts to control the position. Jake Smith has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Bob is looking to improve his position.
Bob is looking to control Smith's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Bob avoid being mounted? Smith looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Smith tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Bob. Bob manages to get to full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Smith looking to pass the guard. Smith trying to move into half guard but instead Bob has managed to sweep! Bob engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Smith looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Bob has picked Smith up and slammed him! Smith can't keep hold of the triangle and Bob manages to pass to side control! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Bob controlling the position.
And that's the end of the fight! Spanch Bob comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Bob winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
