Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Braylon Wolfe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rodrigo Macieira (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wolfe kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genuis that is Killing in the Name. Macieira has chosen Deathrow- Raging Steel as his entrance music. Braylon Wolfe has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Thiago Cunha and Seu Braga.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Macieira throws a right and a left that Wolfe avoids nicely.
Macieira throws a right hand that Wolfe ducks under and follows up with a left that Wolfe also avoids with ease.
Macieira lands a jab to Wolfe's midsection.
Macieira scores with a jab to the body.

Wolfe bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Macieira tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Wolfe wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Macieira is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Wolfe asserts his dominance and retains side control.
Macieira is not content to let Wolfe control the position.
Macieira tries to get back to half guard but can't.

Wolfe thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Wolfe wants to lay and pray for a moment but Macieira keeps working.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Wolfe has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Macieira is working away from the top position though.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Macieira is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Wolfe defends it well.

Macieira prevents Wolfe from improving his position.
Macieira is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.

Macieira tries to stand but Wolfe is controlling from the bottom.

Wolfe is looking for a triangle but Macieira pushes his legs off easily.

Wolfe is trying to escape the mount but Macieira keeps good control and instead manages to take Wolfe's back.

Macieira is looking for the choke from the back position but Wolfe is controlling his hands well.

Wolfe is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Macieira gets his way!
This has been an exciting period of action!

Wolfe stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Macieira swivels though and keeps the full guard.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Macieira is on top in guard.

Macieira stands and steps away. Wolfe gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Wolfe lands a nice looking kick to the body. Macieira takes a step back to recover.
Macieira tests Wolfe's chin there with a solid looking shot.

Macieira scores with a takedown into Wolfe's guard.
Macieira is looking to stand up but Wolfe won't let him.
Wolfe is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Wolfe escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Macieira gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Macieira slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

Macieira decides to stand back up.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Wolfe throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.

It looks like Rodrigo Macieira has been cut.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
A lazy left from Macieira finds it's target.

Macieira fails to land the takedown.

Wolfe forces Macieira back against the cage and clinches.
Wolfe lands an elbow just above Macieira 's eye.

Macieira breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Macieira misses with a series of wild punches.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Macieira crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Wolfe - the referee stops the clock and Macieira gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Wolfe. Macieira manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Wolfe shoots in for a takedown. SLAM! Brutal! Macieira is out cold and this one is all over!
