Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Alex Lecouc (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bruno Kovatch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lecouc comes to the cage accompanied by Rob Zombie - Iron head. Bruno Kovatch will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!
Kovatch is working to avoid the ground and pound but Lecouc connects with a decent elbow.

Kovatch had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Lecouc is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Kovatch Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Lecouc's back instead.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Lecouc tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell!
