Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Rocky Creed!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Josh St Pierre!
The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Mauricio Rocha and Paulo Santos.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Creed displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from St Pierre.
St Pierre misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

St Pierre closes the distance and clinches.

St Pierre breaks from the clinch.
St Pierre shoots in looking for a takedown but Creed manages to keep the fight standing, pushing St Pierre's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Rocky Creed has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Josh St Pierre.
St Pierre throws a nice looking combination but Creed bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Creed throws a right hand that St Pierre ducks under and follows up with a left that St Pierre also avoids with ease.
Creed throws a leg kick
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Creed defends well against a solid takedown attempt from St Pierre.
Creed displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
Creed tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and St Pierre counters with a head kick.

St Pierre shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than St Pierre was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Creed tries to improve his position but instead St Pierre has taken his back!
St Pierre really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for Creed.
St Pierre really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Creed. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

St Pierre is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Creed knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Creed for a finish.
St Pierre keeps control of the position as Creed tries to break free.

St Pierre is controlling his opponent, waiting for an opportunity to finish.
St Pierre controlling well, preventing Creed from escaping the position.

Creed manages to reverse the position and now he's in St Pierre's guard. Nice work there by Creed.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Creed drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and St Pierre dives on top into guard.

Creed pushes a forearm under St Pierre's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, St Pierre is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
