PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alexander Nevsky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paulo Paco (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Alexander Nevsky!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Paulo Paco!
The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Igor Prikhodko and Dmitry Maklakov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nevsky shoots and misses
and Paco counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Nevsky is defended easily by Paco.

Paco is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.

Paco stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Nevsky swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Nevsky throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Paco's waist but Paco gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Nevsky off to one side.
