The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Alan Glass and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barclay bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Bot's head.
Bot looks to score with a jab to the body but Barclay is just out of range.
Barclay loads up on a big right hand but Bot slips the punch.
Bot thows a body shot but no joy.
Bot shoots in for a takedown but Barclay shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Barclay misses with a double jab.
Bot steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Barclay.
Bot ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Barclay throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Bot closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Barclay quickly recovers to half guard.
Barclay is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Bot pulls his head out easily.
Barclay tries to push off, looking to stand up, but Bot manages to move to mount!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Barclay is bucking up trying to escape but Bot cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Barclay can't escape the position.
Bot lands a big shot there that rocks Barclay but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Bot trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Barclay tries to reverse the position but Bot maintains control.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Bot lands a heavy shot. That's hurt Barclay! Bot sees the opportunity and turns up the heat - strike after strike land to the defenseless Barclay and the ref dives in to save him! This one is all over!
