The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Summer Carpenter and Steve Erwin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yoshi tries to clinch up
and Torres holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Torres trying to land knees to the body.
Torres jumps guard but Yoshi stands there with Torres around his waist. Torres gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Both fighters working to control the clinch.
Torres fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Yoshi wants to break the clinch but can't.
Yoshi looking for a takedown.

Torres ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Torres no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Yoshi slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Torres looking for a guillotine here but Yoshi defends easily.

and Yoshi decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Torres's guard.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Torres seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.

Yoshi postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Torres looks a forlorn figure.

Yoshi can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Torres is looking to escape.

Torres is working to avoid the ground and pound but Yoshi connects with a decent elbow.

Yoshi decides to stand back up. Yoshi steps back and let's Torres get back to his feet.
Torres tries to land a front kick but Yoshi steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Torres is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
The fight moves into the clinch position.

Torres tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Yoshi smiles and moves away.
Torres misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Yoshi moves out of range of the body kick.
Yoshi misses with a low kick.
Torres gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Yoshi to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Yoshi is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. And we move into the final round!

Yoshi throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

and Torres counters with a three punch combo that has Yoshi backing up. Yoshi nods at Torres to acknowledge the strikes.
Yoshi tries to score a power double leg takedown but Torres sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Yoshi somewhat.

Torres is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Torres tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Torres swats away the attempt to clinch by Yoshi.

Torres takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Torres lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Yoshi wants to clinch up but Torres keeps it at a distance.
Yoshi gets caught napping as Torres dives in and scores a takedown. Yoshi manages to retain guard.

Yoshi is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Torres accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Torres would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Yoshi looking to hit a scissor sweep but Torres is one step ahead there.
Yoshi bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Torres's guard.
Torres is striking from the bottom but Yoshi uses the opportunity to pass into half guard.
Yoshi stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Yoshi shoots in but no luck this time.
And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Satoshi Yoshi.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Yoshi, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
