The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Roth looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Lynn!
Roth putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound!
Roth pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Roth connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Lynn is squirming around, avoiding Roth's attempts to control the action.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Roth throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
Roth throwing shots from mount but they're not landing.
Roth throws a sloppy strike and Lynn uses the opportunity to reverse the position! A bit of a scramble here and Lynn has ended up in Roth's guard.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Roth has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Lynn doesn't defend quickly enough and Roth has managed to lock this one up! Can Lynn escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Roth on a fantastic submission victory.
