Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tony Mitchell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dan Steele (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Tony Mitchell! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
9 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Dan Steele! The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Sergei Dronov and Aleksandr Martynov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mitchell throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Steele throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Mitchell misses the shot to the body. Steele slips under a jab. Steele blocks a jab. Mitchell avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Steele throws out a loose jab but Mitchell uses good head movement to avoid it. Steele throws a head kick that misses. Mitchell walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Steele avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Mitchell thows a left - swing and a miss! Steele misses with a body shot.
A swing and a miss from Steele. Steele with a nice cross. Steele fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Mitchell. Mitchell scores with a nice head shot.
It looks like Dan Steele has been cut.
That's one minute gone in the round. Steele uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Mitchell. Steele thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Mitchell if he has to take too many more of those.
Mitchell lands with a shot to the body. Mitchell throws a hook but Steele avoids it easily. A shot to the body from Mitchell misses enabling Steele to counter with a crisp jab. A big right from Steele misses. Steele throws a head kick but Mitchell moves out of range.

Mitchell looks to land a right hand but Steele moved out of range. Mitchell throws an overhand right that lands on Steele's shoulder, as Steele tries to avoid the shot. Steele might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable. Mitchell takes a kick to the side of the head. A telegraphed right hand from Mitchell misses the target. Steele defending well as Mitchell loads up on a big left hand. Mitchell's jab looks to have found its range, popping Steele under the eye. Mitchell throws a jab but it's blocked by Steele.

He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Steele with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Mitchell throws a nice looking combination but Steele bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Steele comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Steele misses with the combination.
Steele throws a nice inside leg kick. Mitchell steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Steele. That one must have hurt. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Mitchell misses with a hook
and Steele cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Mitchell avoids the head kick by Steele.
Mitchell misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Steele pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Mitchell takes a shot right to the bread basket. Steele lands with a shot to the body. A combination from Mitchell does no damage. Mitchell moves out of range of the strikes. Steele throws a head kick but Mitchell moves out of range.

and Steele finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body. Mitchell misses the shot to the body. Nice cross by Steele. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Dan Steele will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Dan Steele's cut. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Mitchell misses with an uppercut. Steele saw that one coming. Mitchell waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Steele. Mitchell scores with a jab.
Steele is rocked! Mitchell throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Steele is still on wobbly legs! Can Mitchell finish him? Mitchell jabbing away but nothing is landing. Mitchell throws a series of punches but Steele avoids them all with ease. Mitchell misses with a double jab.
Mitchell throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Steele. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Mitchell will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
The fighters circling - Mitchell throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Mitchell throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Mitchell throws a big shot that misses. Mitchell is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Steele. Mitchell throws a hook but Steele blocks it. Mitchell bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Steele seems to have recovered his senses. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Steele throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Steele lands a nice leg kick that just misses Mitchell's sensitive parts. Mitchell throws a jab when Steele was well out of range. Nice cross by Steele.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mitchell is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Steele. Steele throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Mitchell. Mitchell shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Steele lands a front kick. Mitchell fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Mitchell throws a lazy right hand but Steele sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Mitchell takes a kick to the side of the head. The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Steele. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.

It looks like Tony Mitchell has been cut. Steele fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Mitchell, pushing him back against the cage. Steele misses with the head strike.
We are yet to see a takedown attempt from Steele in the fight. On paper you would think he is the more dominant ground fighter so let's see if these unusual tactics pay off. A short uppercut from Steele. Mitchell tries to break free but Steele pushes him back against the cage. A quick uppercut on the inside from Steele.
Mitchell is rocked! Steele throws a head punch that misses. Oh Mitchell is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Steele misses with the head strike.
Mitchell seems to have got his legs back now. Steele breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Tony Mitchell seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Steele wants to clinch up but Mitchell keeps it at a distance. Steele thuds his shin into the meat of Mitchell's side. Steele misses with a wild body shot. Steele lands a nice shot that snaps Mitchell's head back.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mitchell lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Steele circles away quickly and effectively. That kick from Steele tenderised Mitchell's leg. Mitchell is trying to keep his angry face on. Steele tries to clinch there but Mitchell circles away.
A left lands for Mitchell.
That has opened up Dan Steele's cut even more. Mitchell jabbing away but nothing is landing. Steele lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Steele fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Mitchell looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Dan Steele seems to be getting the better of the standup. Steele throws a jab when Mitchell was well out of range. Steele throws a quick inside leg kick. Mitchell looks to score with a jab to the body but Steele is just out of range. Steele is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Mitchell moves out of range as Steele strikes.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Sloppy strikes from Mitchell. Those never looked like landing. Mitchell throws a shot to the body.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Mitchell throws a big shot that misses. Mitchell moves forwards but Steele connects with a nice, crisp jab. Mitchell blocks a head kick by Steele.

Dan Steele showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
