Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Frank Mir (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ezio Noir (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Frank Mir! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ezio Noir! The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Lou da Vinci and Bruno Lombardi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mir with a lazy takedown attempt and Noir counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Mir's guard now. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Mir keeping moving, preventing Noir from controlling successfully. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Noir stops Mir from standing up.
Ezio Noir has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Noir fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Mir shoots in for a takedown but Noir shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Noir shoots in for a double leg but Mir sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Noir displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Mir. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Frank Mir. That's going to take a lot out of him. Noir lands with a kick to the ribs.
Frank Mir seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's one minute gone in the round. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Noir is defended easily by Mir. Mir shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Mir lands with a punch from half guard. Noir trying to hold on to Mir's head to control him but Mir postures up.
Mir slips a nice elbow through Noir's hands, connecting with Noir's forehead. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Noir is trying to control but can't.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Mir working over Noir with some ground and pound. Noir looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Noir should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Mir looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Noir with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Mir seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Mir looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Mir thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Noir's head. Noir has hold of Mir's hands but Mir slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
It looks like Ezio Noir has been cut. Mir moves nicely into side control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Noir looks gassed! Mir lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
Noir is rocked! Mir stands up and we're back to a striking position. Mir gets a clinch. Mir turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control! Noir dodges the ground and pound from Mir.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mir works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
That has opened up Ezio Noir's cut even more. Mir is chipping away with strikes.
Noir is still in real trouble! Can Mir finish him?
The cut above Ezio Noir's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Ezio Noir's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Frank Mir! Frank Mir thanked the fans post fight for their support.
