Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Hiroyuki Miyasako (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Katsu Higashikuni (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
10 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Hiroyuki Miyasako!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Katsu Higashikuni!
The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Yuuki Gou.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Miyasako tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Higashikuni closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Miyasako quickly recovers to half guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Higashikuni throwing shots but Miyasako is blocking nicely.
Miyasako gets full guard.
Miyasako is adopting a defensive guard.
Higashikuni wants to pass the guard but Miyasako is keeping the position.
Miyasako wants to hit a switch here but Higashikuni passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Miyasako there!
Higashikuni lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.

Higashikuni is in the full mount, landing strikes.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Miyasako is in all sorts of trouble here.
Miyasako wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Higashikuni.

Higashikuni throws some wild stikes that Miyasako manages to avoid easily.
Miyasako blocking the ground and pound.
Higashikuni raining down hammerfists from mount.
Miyasako is rocked!
Higashikuni loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Miyasako scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Higashikuni land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Higashikuni stands and salutes the crowd.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:36 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Katsu Higashikuni!
Katsu Higashikuni decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
