Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ice Man (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Leland Palmer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Man comes to the cage accompanied by Titanium. Palmer has chosen Portishead - Roads as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

and Man counters with a lovely shot to the body.

Palmer throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Man sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Man lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Palmer scores with the left hand. Man knows he should have avoided that one.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Palmer.
Man on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Palmer fails to land the takedown.
Palmer shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Man pinned against the cage. Man gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Palmer changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Man tries to avoid it but Palmer manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Man to the ground. Man escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

and Man counters with a one-two to the body.

Man scores with a crisp jab that stopped Palmer in his tracks.

Palmer shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Man sprawls well. Man wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Palmer gets slowly back to his feet.

No joy there for Man, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Palmer throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

The crowd cheers as Man lands an impressive looking overhand right. Palmer doesn't seem phased though.

Man takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Palmer will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Ice Man is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Man drops Palmer with a right and a left! Man comes rushing in but Palmer regains his composure and manages to keep Man in guard.

Palmer isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Man stacks Palmer on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Man!
Man decides to stand back up. Man steps back and let's Palmer get back to his feet.

Palmer walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Palmer swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Man lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Man.
Palmer closes the distance and clinches up with Man, looking for a takedown. Palmer pushes Man against the cage but Man circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Palmer stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Man swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Palmer throws the left hand but Man avoids the punch easily.
Man misses with a series of wild punches.

Palmer takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Man looks to land a combination but Palmer avoids it well.

That was a close round but Ice Man did the better work so I'd imagine he'll take it.

Man lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.

and Man counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Palmer is still on wobbly legs! Can Man finish him?

Man throws a nice looking combination but Palmer bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Man avoids the body shot from Palmer.

Man closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Palmer! Man dives in looking to finish! Palmer is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
