The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Swanson closes the distance and lands a one-two.
A jab from Swanson does it's job there.
Swanson connects with a good right hand that stumbles Camel . Camel circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Camel gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Swanson.

The fighters circle momentarily. Swanson darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

Swanson fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Swanson lands a big shot there that rocks Camel but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

Swanson swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Camel is now in Swanson's guard. A big mistake from Swanson there, giving up the dominant position!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Swanson is looking for a triangle but Camel pushes his legs off easily.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Camel stands up over Swanson, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Joe Swanson showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Camel is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Well Swanson has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
