Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between LM Fao (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jeff Kreg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fao's entrance music is LMFAO - Sorry For Party Rocking. A fine choice. Kreg has chosen Silence as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, LM Fao! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jeff Kreg! The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Steve Montenegro and Reed Andrews.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fao fails with a takedown attempt. No luck for Kreg with that takedown attempt. Fao fails with the takedown and Kreg counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Fao bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Kreg's guard. Fao postures up and lands a big shot to Kreg's brow. Fao with a nice head shot there. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Kreg looking to hit a scissor sweep but Fao is one step ahead there. Kreg keeping full guard, as Fao tries to pass. Fao being controlled here momentarily. Kreg not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

That's one minute gone in the round. Kreg looking to hit a scissor sweep but Fao is one step ahead there. Fao stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Kreg swivels though and keeps the full guard. Kreg is pulling down on Fao's head. It's preventing any offense from Fao, at least for the moment. Fao trying to control the position from guard on top but Kreg is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Fao with a poor takedown and Kreg counters by clinching up. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for LM Fao. That's going to take a lot out of him. Fao is fighting off a takedown attempt but Kreg is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Fao to the mat. Fao regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. Fao working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Kreg doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Fao is tightening it up a little... Kreg has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Kreg reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Kreg taps out! Nice BJJ there by Fao!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle Choke). LM Fao! Our winner, LM Fao, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
