Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Janis Lusis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mr Gray (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gray has chosen make love not war baby as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

and Gray counters with a good low kick that Lusis was not able to check.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Gray throws out a loose jab but Lusis uses good head movement to avoid it.

Lusis avoids a punch combination nicely.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Gray moves out of range as Lusis strikes.

Lusis avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

Gray loads up on a big right hand but Lusis slips the punch.

Gray bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Lusis's head.

Gray looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Gray changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Lusis tries to avoid it but Gray manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Lusis to the ground. Lusis escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Gray digs a good hook to Lusis's body.
Lusis misses with a low kick.
Lusis throws an off balance right hand
and Gray counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Gray misses with a straight left.
Lusis does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Gray connects with a body shot that sends Lusis's belly button to the back.

Gray takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Lusis avoids the head kick by Gray.
Gray throws a hook but Lusis blocks it.
Gray steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Lusis.

Gray stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Janis Lusis seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lusis drops Gray with a huge uppercut! Gray drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Lusis is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!
