Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jebediah Stewart (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Adam Rubio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stewart kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Momma Said Knock You Out. Jebediah Stewart has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

10 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Adam Rubio! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Stewart blocks a head kick by Rubio.
Rubio throws a leg kick and Stewart counters with a straight right hand. Rubio misses with a double jab.
Stewart tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Rubio manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Rubio throws a head kick that misses and Stewart connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Rubio. Rubio throws a right and a left that both miss. Stewart gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Rubio misses with an elbow strike.
Rubio tries to stall but Stewart uses the opportunity to gain a better position.

Rubio shoots in looking for a takedown but Stewart manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Rubio's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Jebediah Stewart has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Adam Rubio. Stewart bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lazy left from Stewart finds it's target. Rubio closes the distance and clinches up with Stewart, looking for a takedown. Rubio pushes Stewart against the cage but Stewart circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Rubio throws a hook but Stewart avoids it easily. Rubio shoots in looking for a takedown. Stewart tries to sprawl out of it but Rubio keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Stewart manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Rubio shoots and misses enabling Stewart to counter with a crisp jab. Rubio looks gassed! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Rubio pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Stewart staying out of range there. Rubio scores with a one two! Stewart had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. Rubio misses with a double jab
and Stewart holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Stewart keeps control of Rubio as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Rubio misses with some punches.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Adam Rubio dominated that round. Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval. That's time! Stewart's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Rubio throws a push kick but Stewart slaps the foot to one side. Stewart slaps away a takedown attempt from Rubio, before circling back to the center of the mat. Rubio throws a left and a right that both miss
and Stewart counters with a stiff right hand. Rubio gets a double leg takedown into Stewart's guard. Stewart wants to stand and escape but Rubio is having none of it. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Stewart trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.
That's one minute gone in the round. Stewart on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Stewart tries to get out of the position. Rubio trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Rubio won't allow Stewart to get back to his feet. Rubio has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Rubio throws a big right hand that misses. Rubio trying to control the position from guard on top but Stewart is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Adam Rubio wasn't active enough on the ground. Rubio shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Stewart defends it nicely. Jebediah Stewart has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Adam Rubio. No luck with that takedown attempt from Rubio.

And that's the end of the fight! Adam Rubio comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Rubio has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today.
