Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jay Davis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nanos Perdatov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Perdatov has chosen Muhammad Ali Speech as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Jay Davis! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 1, fighting out of St Petersburg, Nanos Perdatov! The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Vladimir Khabensky and Aleksandr Martynov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Davis tries for a takedown but Perdatov circles away easily and Perdatov counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Perdatov sitting in guard here, content to control. Perdatov stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Davis swivels though and keeps the full guard. Davis has his foot on Perdatov's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Perdatov works his way back into a safe position though. Perdatov landing some decent shots from guard. Davis is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Perdatov is controlling him. Davis looking for a guillotine here but Perdatov defends easily.
Perdatov wants to pass the guard but Davis is keeping the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Davis working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Perdatov. Perdatov passes into half guard. Perdatov perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Perdatov's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Davis has hold of Perdatov's hands but Perdatov slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Perdatov looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Perdatov keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Perdatov is looking for a kimura here.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Nanos Perdatov was stalling too much, according to the referee. Perdatov manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Davis on his heels. He'll look to pass Davis's guard now, I'm sure. Davis is breathing heavily. Perdatov is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Perdatov wants to pass the guard but Davis is keeping the position. Perdatov not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Perdatov gets to his feet. Davis looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Davis tries to sprawl but Perdatov drives through with a takedown into half guard. Perdatov is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Davis defends it well. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Perdatov controlling the action here. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Nanos Perdatov dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Davis doesn't succeed with the takedown and Perdatov counters with a three punch combo that has Davis backing up. Davis nods at Perdatov to acknowledge the strikes. Perdatov throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Davis on the side of the head. Perdatov gets a clinch. Davis wants a takedown but no success here.
Perdatov has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Davis clear over his head and slammed him to the mat! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Davis wants to escape the position.
Perdatov tightening his grip on Davis, looking for the choke. Perdatov has good solid back control here. Nanos Perdatov has got the better of the ground game so far. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Perdatov looking for the choke from the back. Perdatov trying to secure his dominant position for a moment - making sure Davis doesn't escape. Perdatov looking for the rear naked choke. And he's got it! Davis taps!
