Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jason Steele (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Arthur Meighen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Steele comes to the cage accompanied by The Terminator Theme. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Arthur Meighen enters the cage!

The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Emerson Jorge and Paulo Santos.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Meighen throws a looping overhand right but Steele ducks down to avoid it.
Steele checks a leg kick.
A nice leg kick lands there from Meighen.
Meighen takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Meighen misses with a jab to the body
and Steele counters with a shoot takedown. Meighen fights it but they end up in guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Steele keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Meighen's head.

Steele scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

That's time! Steele's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Steele with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Meighen to score with a decent uppercut.

Steele cracks Meighen with a good jab.
Meighen takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.

Steele throws a hook but Meighen blocks it.
Steele closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Steele thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Steele thows a huge punch but Meighen dodges it nicely.

Meighen is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Steele's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Steele's back!

Meighen wants to control but Steele is keeping busy.

Let's hope that Meighen has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Jason Steele overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Meighen is in all sorts of trouble here.
