The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zero misses with a takedown
and Svalbard counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Svalbard works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Zero actively working from the bottom here.

Svalbard stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Zero to get to his feet.
Svalbard displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Zero.

Zero gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Svalbard counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Wojtek Svalbard has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Max Zero.
Zero is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Svalbard is aware though and is defending well.

Zero gets caught flat footed, as Svalbard shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Zero has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Svalbard doesn't defend quickly enough and Zero has managed to lock this one up! Can Svalbard escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Zero on a fantastic submission victory.
