Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Dan Morgan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rafael Zanico (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rafael Zanico will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Dan Morgan! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Rafael Zanico! The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Steve Erwin and Donatello Bradman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Zanico fails with an attempt to clinch.
Morgan throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Morgan scores with a nice right hand.
Morgan avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Zanico feints a jab promting Morgan to slip. Zanico then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Morgan slips again and ducks right into an uppercut. Zanico keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Morgan. Morgan loads up on a big right hand but Zanico slips the punch. Zanico feints and as Morgan raises his hands in defense, Zanico changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Zanico tries to free his leg and advance position but Morgan is retaining full guard. Morgan manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

That's one minute gone in the round. Morgan get's back to his feet. Zanico darts in trying to clinch and Morgan counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Zanico doesn't manage to clinch there - Morgan circles away.
Zanico looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Morgan! Morgan tries to hold on but Zanico postures up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Zanico moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Morgan has worked his arm free - good work by Morgan!
Morgan is pushing Zanico's head away, looking to escape. Zanico manages to hold on to the position though. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Morgan manages to work his way to half guard, despite Zanico's best efforts. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Zanico is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Morgan wants to improve his position but Zanico is controlling well.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Zanico is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Morgan is just riding it out for now. Zanico eventually gives up the hold. Zanico is thwarting Morgan's attempts to control the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Zanico is looking for a kimura here.
Morgan is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Zanico pulls his head out easily. Zanico tries to pass to full mount but Morgan defends it. Morgan might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Zanico seems to be looking for submissions.
Zanico looks gassed! Zanico works his foot free and advances to mount.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Zanico prevents Morgan from getting the reversal. Zanico is in the full mount, landing strikes. Zanico dominating with strikes here. Morgan is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Morgan wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.
Zanico goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Morgan turns into him and now he's in Zanico's guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Zanico is trying to control the position but Morgan postures up. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Dan Morgan will probably get the nod. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Morgan throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Morgan's jab looks to have found its range, popping Zanico under the eye. Morgan lands a lovely overhand right. Zanico doesn't manage to clinch there - Morgan circles away.
Zanico tries to clinch but Morgan is having none of it. Zanico fails with an attempt to clinch.
Morgan steps into range and cracks Zanico with a monster punch that buckles his knees! Zanico flops backwards and Morgan dives into his guard looking to finish!
Zanico is rocked! This has been an exciting period of action! Morgan advances position into side control! Zanico is still in real trouble! Can Morgan finish him? Morgan has an Americana. Zanico didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Morgan is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Morgan hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:59 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Dan Morgan! Dan Morgan decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
