PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Max Zero (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wojtek Svalbard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Zero might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to José the Bronx Rican - Spittin' Narcicism. Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 21 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Max Zero!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Wojtek Svalbard!
The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Damien Edna and Bruno Hogan.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Svalbard tries to clinch up.

Svalbard feints and as Zero raises his hands in defense, Svalbard changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Zero is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Svalbard is aware though and is defending well.

Zero working for a triangle but Svalbard defends it easily.

Zero escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Svalbard gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Zero had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Svalbard defends it easily.

Zero has his foot on Svalbard's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Svalbard works his way back into a safe position though.

Zero is looking to sinch up a triangle. Svalbard throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Zero's body to avoid the submission. Zero has instead reached around Svalbard's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Zero arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Max Zero!
