Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Thomas Pusher (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Apollo Creed (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Creed is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Yasiin Bey - Niggas In Poorest. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Creed is trying hard to land a takedown here. Pusher sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Creed looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Pusher is fending him off so far but Creed persists. Nope, Pusher circles away and we're back to standing.
Pusher stuffs the takedown attempt from Creed. Creed gets slowly back to his feet.

Creed lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Creed tries to score a power double leg takedown but Pusher sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Creed somewhat.

Creed changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Pusher tries to avoid it but Creed manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Pusher to the ground. Pusher escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Creed throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Pusher's waist but Pusher gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Creed off to one side.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

That was a close round but I would say that Thomas Pusher will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Creed has taken the fight to the clinch.
Creed ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Creed no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Pusher working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Creed wants to sweep here but Pusher controlling him for the moment.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Pusher has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Creed is proving hard to escape from.

The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Apollo Creed was stalling too much, according to the referee.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Horrible takedown by Creed or perhaps it was just good defense by Pusher which made him look bad.
