7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Alpha Dog! The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Steve Erwin and Damien Edna.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dog scores with a crisp jab that stopped Davies Miles in his tracks. Davies Miles closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Dog to the mat! Dog manages to get full guard. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Davies Miles got a little sloppy there for a moment and Dog has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Davies Miles has managed to get both his arms back between Dog's legs - danger averted. Dog is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Davies Miles defends well. Davies Miles trying to control the position from guard on top but Dog is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. This has been an exciting period of action! Dog might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Davies Miles kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Dog wants to sweep but no luck. Davies Miles has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Dog lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Davies Miles! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Davies Miles wants to hold on but Dog pushes him away. A close round but Alpha Dog will probably get the nod. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
