2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, ryan prevost! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, JoeSon Do! The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Dillan Fox and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Do throws a one two combo.
It looks like ryan prevost has been cut. prevost throws a sloppy head kick and Do moves out of range easily. Do keeps the fight on the outside. prevost slips a jab and a cross from Do.
prevost looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Do! prevost throws some wild stikes that Do manages to avoid easily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Do slips a leg in and gets back to half guard. Do controlling the position well. Do tries to get to full guard but prevost has control of the leg. Do is holding on to half guard well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Do is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Do trying to control but prevost postures up.
prevost will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. prevost content to control rather than advance. Do is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of prevost's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take prevost's back! I would not like to be prevost right now.

Do keeping moving, preventing prevost from controlling successfully. prevost tries to free his leg and advance position but Do is retaining full guard. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as prevost accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Do is trying to keep prevost in close.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. prevost changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Do tries to avoid it but prevost manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Do to the ground. Do escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Do throws the left hand but prevost avoids the punch easily. Horrible takedown by prevost or perhaps it was just good defense by Do which made him look bad.

Do lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. prevost tries to get to full guard but Do has control of the leg. Do does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. prevost fails to land the takedown. Do misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from prevost.
