Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sasa Sladkov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bobby Leshley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Leshley comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Step into a World kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
11 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Sasa Sladkov! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
18 - 13 - 2, fighting out of Montreal, Bobby Leshley! The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Steve Smith and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sladkov throws a hook to the side of Leshley's head but Leshley sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Sladkov blocks a head kick by Leshley.
Leshley scores with a spinning back kick! Sladkov cracks Leshley with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
It looks like Bobby Leshley has been cut. Leshley checks the leg kick nicely there.
Leshley throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Sladkov counters with a nice uppercut. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Leshley ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Leshley lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Sladkov tries to sprawl but Leshley drives through with a takedown into half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Leshley keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Sladkov tries to get to full guard but Leshley has control of the leg. Leshley is controlling the pace.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sladkov avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Leshley. Leshley missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Leshley has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Leshley with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Bobby Leshley hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. A punch combination from Sladkov misses. Leshley throws a hook to the side of Sladkov's head but Sladkov sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Leshley throws a shot to the body.
Leshley darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Leshley with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Leshley's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Bobby Leshley wasn't active enough on the ground. Leshley scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Nice body punch from Leshley. Leshley works Sladkov's body with a nice hook. Leshley connects with a crisp jab. Sladkov fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Leshley. No joy there for Leshley, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Leshley bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. The referee asks Leshley politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Leshley prefers to stall for the moment though. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Sladkov takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Leshley throws a left that rocks Sladkov and follows with a right that sends him tumbling to the canvas! Leshley dives into side control, looking to finish! Can Sladkov regain composure!
It looks like Sasa Sladkov has been cut. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Leshley is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Sladkov's shoulder. That is not cool. Let's hope that Leshley has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Bobby Leshley wasn't active enough on the ground. Leshley connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Leshley shoots in and bounces Sladkov off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Leshley showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Leshley has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Sladkov keeping moving, preventing Leshley from controlling successfully.

Bobby Leshley has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Leshley, as that shot connected.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Leshley looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Sladkov is fending him off so far but Leshley persists. Nope, Sladkov circles away and we're back to standing.

Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Leshley connects with a body shot that sends Sladkov's belly button to the back. Leshley punishes Sladkov's body with a nice straight punch. Leshley changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Sladkov looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Leshley tries to advance to mount but can't. Sladkov is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Leshley is one step ahead and moves to full mount! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bobby Leshley showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!
Leshley fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Sladkov manages to avoid it. Leshley is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Sladkov rather than just go for the knockout. Leshley throws an overhand right that lands on Sladkov's shoulder, as Sladkov tries to avoid the shot. Leshley slips a straight right by Sladkov. Leshley ducks under a wild hook from Sladkov. Leshley throws a big shot that misses. Leshley looks to land a left hand but Sladkov moved out of range nicely. Leshley scores with a jab to the jaw. Sladkov looks to land a body kick but Leshley moved away. Leshley throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Sladkov on the side of the head. Sladkov throws out a loose jab but Leshley uses good head movement to avoid it. A shot to the body from Sladkov misses and Leshley counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Leshley misses with a low kick as Sladkov jumps back.

Leshley throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Sladkov stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Sladkov slaps away a takedown attempt from Leshley, before circling back to the center of the mat. Leshley jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Leshley looks for a takedown but Sladkov sprawls well. Leshley punishes Sladkov's body with a nice straight punch. Leshley lands with a hook. Sladkov tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Leshley misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Sladkov counters with a leg kick. Bobby Leshley is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Leshley has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. Leshley looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Leshley trying to control the action but Sladkov is working from the bottom. Leshley is figuring out what he wants to do next. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Bobby Leshley. Sladkov throws out a leg kick but Leshley moves out of range and Sladkov only half commits.

Leshley fails with a takedown attempt. Sasa Sladkov has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bobby Leshley. Sladkov misses with an uppercut
and Leshley connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Sladkov swings away with a leg kick that misses. Sladkov takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Leshley takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Sasa Sladkov has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Leshley takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Bobby Leshley seems to be getting the better of the standup. Leshley moves out of range of the body kick.
And that's the end of the fight! Bobby Leshley comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Leshley has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
