Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Malcolm Fury (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kamal Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fury has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Donatello Bradman and Bruno Hogan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fury tries to close the distance and clinch but Silva swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Fury moves in looking to clinch but Silva pushes him off.
Fury looks to land a right hand but Silva moved out of range.
Fury looks to land a body kick but Silva moved away.
Silva shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Silva shoots in but no luck this time.
Nice takedown defense from Fury. No joy for Silva on that attempt.
Malcolm Fury has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kamal Silva.

Silva shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Silva was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Silva has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Fury's face.

Fury takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
Silva stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet.
Malcolm Fury seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fury throws a hook but Silva blocks it.
Silva moves into the clinch successfully.
Fury has had enough of the clinch but Silva keeps him there for the moment.
Fury misses with a punch on the inside.
Fury wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Silva has him pressed against the cage.
Silva can't find room to land a body shot as Fury controls the action.
Fury really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Silva manages to break the clinch.
Silva throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Fury's waist but Fury gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Silva off to one side.
Fury misses with a takedown
and Silva counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Fury's guard now.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Silva controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Fury will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Silva postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Silva is pushing down on Fury's leg trying to pass to half guard. Fury is fighting to maintain full guard but Silva has managed to sneak the leg through.

Silva is nestled in close to Fury, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Silva is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
Silva wants to control the pace but Fury is squirming around nicely.
Silva takes Fury's back. Could be looking for a rear naked choke here - either way, Fury is in trouble.
Silva has the hooks in. Fury is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
A bit of a pause in the action here. Silva controlling the positon.

Silva lands with a couple of good shots - one to the side of the head and one questionable shot that could be viewed as to the back of the head but the referee lets it go.
