Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Vlad Tepes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Trang Troc (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Troc's choice of entrance music: Dr. Octagon- Real Raw. Trang Troc has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Vlad Tepes!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Trang Troc!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Alec Ball and Yves DeLean.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Troc dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Tepes. That did some damage!

Tepes shoots in and gets a takedown into Troc's guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Tepes postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Tepes passes Troc's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Tepes wants to take a breather but Troc is having none of it.
Tepes missing with the ground and pound from half guard.
Troc tries to roll over but Tepes keeps him under control.
Tepes thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Troc's head.
Tepes looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Tepes misses with a head shot. Troc uses the momentum to regain guard.
Tepes trying to control but Troc is working from the bottom.
Troc utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Tepes wants to pass the guard but Troc is keeping the position.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Troc avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Troc has his hands on Tepes's head, controlling the position.
Tepes working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Tepes throws a big elbow that misses.
Tepes is looking to work some ground and pound but Troc has wrist control.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Tepes postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Tepes trying to move into half guard but instead Troc has managed to sweep!
Troc wants to control from the top but Tepes keeps moving.

Tepes kicks Troc off and gets to his feet.
Troc with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Troc works Tepes's body with a nice hook.
Troc connects with a leg kick. Tepes looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Tepes throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Troc thumps Tepes with a low kick.
Nice sprawl there from Troc as Tepes shoots in.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Troc dips to his left and cracks Tepes with an uppercut!

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Troc keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Trang Troc is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Nice takedown defense from Troc. No joy for Tepes on that attempt.

Troc instigates a clinch.

Troc manages to break the clinch.
Vlad Tepes seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Tepes tries to clinch there but Troc circles away.
Tepes misses with a wild body shot.
Horrible takedown by Tepes or perhaps it was just good defense by Troc which made him look bad.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Vlad Tepes. That's going to take a lot out of him.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Tepes.
Tepes has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Troc.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Tepes missing with a left hand there. Troc was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Tepes fails with a takedown attempt.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Trang Troc will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

A combination from Tepes does no damage.
Tepes shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Troc but Troc pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Tepes has a takedown stuffed.

Troc lands a slapping body shot.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Troc wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Troc takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.

Troc lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.

Troc moves into the clinch successfully.
Troc gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.

Tepes is rocked!
Tepes takes an elbow to the temple.
Oh Tepes is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Troc working the clinch nicely. Tepes is working for position but Troc cracks him with a big knee to the head! Tepes crumples up against the cage and Troc lands two more shots before the ref can save Tepes! This one is all over!
