The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Heavyweight scores with a punch to the head.
A looping hook to the body misses from Snipkes. Heavyweight does a little dance to reset his feet.
Snipkes throws a head kick but Heavyweight moves out of range.
Heavyweight cracks Snipkes with a good jab.
Heavyweight lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Heavyweight.

It looks like Rodger Snipkes has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Nice shot lands for Heavyweight.
Heavyweight throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Snipkes.
Snipkes tries to clinch but Heavyweight moves out of range.
Heavyweight lands a really nice looking cross but Snipkes seems unphased.
Heavyweight lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Snipkes fails with the takedown
and Heavyweight counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Snipkes takes one to the side of the head.
Heavyweight looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Heavyweight throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Snipkes stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Heavyweight throws a right and a left that both miss.

Heavyweight lands a left and a right that send Snipkes crashing to the mat, dazed. Heavyweight thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Snipkes is rocked!

That's one minute gone in the round.
Heavyweight ducks down and throws a big overhand right - it lands flush on the jaw, knocking Snipkes out cold! The fight is over!
