Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Eliza Hachem and Hugh Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stover throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
It looks like Meow Mix has been cut.
Mix tries to close the distance and clinch up but Stover swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Mix scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Stover might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Mix throwing shots but Stover is blocking nicely.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Mix with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.
Mix's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Mix slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

Meow Mix has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Mix tries to clinch there but Stover circles away.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Stover walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Mix drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Stover swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Mix's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:11 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Russ Stover!
