Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Austin Beck (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Shields (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jack Shields struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 172.0lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Beck lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Beck throws a head kick but Shields moves out of range.
Shields tries for a takedown but Beck sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
A nice leg kick lands there from Beck.
Beck throws a nice outside leg kick.
Shields looks gassed!
Beck misses with a head kick.
The fighters circle, before Beck throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Shields's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Beck lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!
