Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Buzz Killer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Robin Monty (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Buzz Killer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Robin Monty!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Alec Ball and William Peck.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Monty closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Monty wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Monty wants to stall.

Monty turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Monty manages to end up in side control.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Monty controls the position.
Killer is looking to regain half guard here but Monty keeps moving and retains side control.
Killer is not content to let Monty control the position.
Monty tries to move to mount but Killer blocks the move with his legs.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Monty controlling the position.
Killer is not content to let Monty control the position.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Robin Monty wasn't active enough on the ground.

Monty shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Killer manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Monty wants to control from the top but Killer keeps moving.
Monty missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Monty stopping the sweep attempt from Killer.
Monty tries to free his leg and advance position but Killer is retaining full guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Monty works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Monty wants to control but Killer is keeping him busy.

Monty decides to stand and escape the position.
Monty shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Killer pinned against the cage. Killer gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Monty shoots in but no luck this time.

Killer bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Monty is trying to improve his position.
Killer working the ground and pound but Monty is defending the strikes.
Monty manages to get back to half guard.
Monty is trying to control but can't.
Killer misses with a head shot. Monty uses the momentum to regain guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Monty wants to stand but Killer is controlling the position.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Monty is trying to keep Killer in close.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Robin Monty dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Monty throws a combination that misses
and Killer counters with a right hand to the body.
Monty changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Killer tries to avoid it but Monty manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Killer to the ground. Killer escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Monty uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Killer.
No luck for Monty with that takedown attempt.

Killer gets a takedown into half guard.
Monty avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Killer.
Monty wants to control but Killer is keeping busy.

Monty looking for submissions off his back.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Killer is looking to advance position but Monty won't allow it.
Monty trying to control from the bottom.

Monty looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
Monty is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Killer scores with a couple of nice shots.
Killer seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Killer drops an elbow to the side of Monty's head.
Killer lands with a punch from half guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Monty is trying to stand back up but Killer is controlling him
Killer tries to pass the half guard into mount. Monty knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Killer prevents Monty from standing back up.
Nice strikes from Killer there.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Killer seems to be working for a kimura but Monty defends the submission attempt.

Monty is breathing heavily.
Killer has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Killer postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Monty looks a forlorn figure.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Monty is working to get back to half guard.
Monty is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.
Monty in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head.


It looks like Robin Monty has been cut.
Killer looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
Killer lands a big shot there that rocks Monty but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.


That has opened up Robin Monty's cut even more.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Killer connects with a couple of good shots from mount.


The cut above Robin Monty's eye is starting to cause him problems now.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Robin Monty's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:57 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Buzz Killer!
A relieved looking Buzz Killer thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
