Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bust Mouth (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pertti Paavali (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Paavali clinches up against the cage.

Paavali throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Mouth on the side of the head.

Paavali shoots in and bounces Mouth off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.

Mouth shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Mouth seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Paavali does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Paavali really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Mouth. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Mouth fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Mouth misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Mouth closes this distance looking for a takedown but Paavali circles away.
Paavali keeps the fight on the outside.

Paavali pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Paavali lands a right hook to the body.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Paavali rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Mouth moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Pertti Paavali seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Paavali counters with a nice double leg into half guard.

Mouth is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Paavali's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Paavali's back!
