The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Henshaw throws a leg kick that is checked

and El Hazad counters by clinching up.
El Hazad is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Henshaw to keep the fight standing.
Henshaw managing to block the knees to the body from El Hazad.
Henshaw tries a body shot but El Hazad blocks it.
El Hazad throws a knee to the head but misses.
El Hazad connects with a knee to the head.

It looks like Cpl. Steve Henshaw has been cut.
El Hazad drops down looking for an ankle pick but Henshaw pulls his leg out and moves away.
Henshaw thumps El Hazad with a low kick.

Henshaw dives in and scores a takedown into El Hazad's guard.
El Hazad is pulling down on Henshaw's head to control his posture.
Henshaw slips nicely into half guard.

El Hazad tries to lock up and control but Henshaw gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

El Hazad is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Henshaw postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have El Hazad in real trouble here! The ref calls for El Hazad to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
