Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Phil Ryan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cice Salace (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, Paul Tew and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ryan goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Sloppy strikes from Ryan. Those never looked like landing.
Ryan shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Ryan showed some decent athleticism there.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Ryan trying to control from half guard but Salace is working away.
Salace looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
Ryan prevents Salace from improving his position.
Salace is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Ryan pulls his head out easily.
Salace is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Ryan's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Ryan's back!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Salace punches Ryan on the ear.
Salace has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Salace throwing strikes from the back - he gets a warning from the referee for striking the back of the head but all these shots are hurting Ryan!
Salace is working on the RNC. He looks like he's got it but Ryan won't tap... Oh, he's out! The ref rips Salace off his unconscious opponent!
