Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
9 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Josh Johnson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
10 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Josh Hara! The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Elvis Blanc and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A head kick misses from Hara. Hara keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Hara walks into a straight right hand from Johnson. A jab from Hara misses. Johnson pushes Hara away with a front kick. Johnson moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Johnson darts in and out, connecting with a jab. Johnson gets in close and instigates a clinch. Johnson gets underhooks to prevent Hara's takedown attempt.
Johnson is fighting off a takedown attempt but Hara is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Johnson to the mat. Johnson regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Johnson is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Hara trying to control but Johnson is working from the bottom. Johnson is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hara is not content to let Johnson control the position. Johnson is really struggling to control Hara but he's trying to hold on to the position. Johnson tries to stand but his arm is trapped. Johnson is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Hara defends it well. Johnson wants to get back to his feet.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Johnson trying to control from half guard but Hara is working away. Hara trying to control but Johnson postures up.
Johnson is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Johnson is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Hara is just riding it out for now. Johnson eventually gives up the hold. Hara wants to control but Johnson is keeping busy and won't allow it. Hara is trying to get back to full guard. Johnson seems to be looking for submissions.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Johnson wants to pass to mount but Hara is defending the position. Johnson looking for a submission but Hara manages to get full guard, putting an end to that submission attempt.
Johnson wants to control from the top but Hara keeps moving. Johnson stands up from guard. Let's bang! Johnson throws an overhand right that lands on Hara's shoulder, as Hara tries to avoid the shot. A left lands for Johnson. Johnson will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Johnson looks for the body kick but Hara saw that one coming.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Johnson gets a clinch. Johnson lands a hook to the side of the head. Hara misses with a knee strike.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Johnson breaks the clinch.
Johnson throws a mid kick that lands with a slap. Johnson with a nice cross. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! A jab lands there for Johnson. Johnson lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Johnson throws a head kick that misses. Johnson looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Josh Johnson dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Johnson defending well as Hara loads up on a big left hand. Josh Johnson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Johnson scores with a kick to the body.
Hara tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Johnson throws a right and a left that Hara avoids nicely. Johnson scores with a head kick. Hara tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Johnson lands a nice leg kick that just misses Hara's sensitive parts. Johnson takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Johnson throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Hara. Hara shoots in for a double leg but Johnson sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Hara avoids a kick to the body.

The fight moves into the clinch position. Hara is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Johnson throws an elbow but it's blocked.

Johnson breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Johnson is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Hara can do to turn this around? Hara shoots in but no luck this time. Hara shoots in looking for a takedown but Johnson manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Hara's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Josh Johnson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Josh Hara. Hara takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Hara closes this distance looking for a takedown but Johnson circles away. Hara uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Johnson. Johnson throws the left hand but Hara avoids the punch easily. Johnson scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Johnson lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Hara takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Johnson lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. Johnson goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Johnson lands a nice looking body kick. Johnson clinches up with Hara and pushes him back against the cage. Johnson pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Johnson is looking to slow Hara down with leg kicks. Josh Johnson is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Johnson lands a big head kick that sends Hara tumbling to the mat! Johnson takes a step backwards and waves Hara back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Hara is rocked! Johnson is looking to slow Hara down with leg kicks. Hara is still on wobbly legs! Can Johnson finish him? Johnson steps into range and unloads a brutal right left combo! Hara is out on his feet! Johnson sets himself and nearly takes Hara's head off with a straight right, sending him crashing to the mat! Wow, that was nasty... but awesome! Wooo!
