Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between mike doucklas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Danon Detrow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Matti Vanhoillinen and Tarja Halkonen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Detrow throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
doucklas tries to clinch up but Detrow circles away and keeps his distance.
doucklas avoids a kick to the body.
Detrow tries to bum rush doucklas with a series of wild strikes but doucklas uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Detrow.
doucklas shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Detrow holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
doucklas tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Detrow looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? doucklas is fending him off so far but Detrow persists. Nope, doucklas circles away and we're back to standing.

The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as doucklas takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
Detrow wants to get back to striking at distance but doucklas won't allow it.
doucklas jumps guard but Detrow stands there with doucklas around his waist. doucklas gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

doucklas shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Detrow as he jumps to the side.

Detrow throws a series of punches but doucklas avoids them all with ease.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Detrow doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
Detrow had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. doucklas is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Detrow Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take doucklas's back instead.
Detrow is trying to stick to doucklas's back but doucklas is turning into Detrow. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Detrow's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by doucklas.
Detrow bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in doucklas's guard.

Well doucklas has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
