Plan III tries to close the distance and clinch but Fitzgibbon swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Fitzgibbon is breathing heavily.

Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Plan III.

Plan III tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Fitzgibbon's elbow.

Fitzgibbon turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Fitzgibbon wants to lay and pray for a moment but Plan III keeps working.

Plan III is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Fitzgibbon asserts his dominance and retains side control.

Fitzgibbon wants to lay and pray for a moment but Plan III keeps working.
Fitzgibbon is really struggling to control Plan III but he's trying to hold on to the position.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Ran Plan III dominated that round.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Plan III stuns Fitzgibbon with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.

Plan III lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Ran Plan III is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Fitzgibbon avoids a punch combination nicely.
Plan III takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Plan III scores with a punch to the head.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Fitzgibbon crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Plan III - the referee stops the clock and Fitzgibbon gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Plan III. Fitzgibbon manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Fitzgibbon is defended easily by Plan III.

Fitzgibbon walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

and Plan III counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Fitzgibbon! He's just covering up as Plan III starts to tee off till the referee steps in and stops the fight!
