Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mick Lenny (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jorge Sandoval (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lenny comes to the cage accompanied by Convoy. Sandoval is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Ready for War. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lenny throws a right and a left that both miss.
Lenny misses with an uppercut.
Sandoval jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Lenny scores with a jab.
Lenny misses with a looping right.
Lenny closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Sandoval misses with a double jab.
Lenny ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Sandoval looks to land a left hand but Lenny moved out of range nicely.
Lenny lands the left hand.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Lenny connects with a looping right hand.
Lenny uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Sandoval has time to react.

Sandoval lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.

Sandoval takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Sandoval shoots for a takedown but Lenny saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Lenny stuns Sandoval with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Lenny lands with a straight right. Sandoval didn't see that one coming.

Lenny is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.
Sandoval throws a series of punches but Lenny avoids them all with ease.
Lenny throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Mick Lenny seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Lenny has managed to clinch.
Sandoval is trying desperately to land a takedown but Lenny is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Sandoval.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Lenny creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Sandoval tries to pull guard but Lenny holds him up against the cage and eventually Sandoval drops back down to his feet.

Lenny goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Good anti-grappling being displayed by Lenny as Sandoval tries to tie him up.
Lenny lands with a light punch inside.
Lenny tries to work over Sandoval's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Lenny stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
Lenny escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Sandoval throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Lenny sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Sandoval takes a shot to the body in his stride.

Sandoval takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Lenny swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Sandoval.
Lenny fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Lenny cracks Sandoval with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
A telegraphed right hand from Lenny misses the target.
Lenny lands a big head kick that sends Sandoval tumbling to the mat! Lenny takes a step backwards and waves Sandoval back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Sandoval is rocked!
Sandoval dives in and grabs Lenny's left leg, looking for a takedown. Lenny pushes down on Sandoval's head and hops out.
Sandoval is still on wobbly legs! Can Lenny finish him?
Lenny plants his feet and throws a 3 punch combo. Miss, miss, boom! The third punch, a big right hook, connects right on the temple and drops Sandoval to the mat, unconscious! This fight is all over! Sandoval just couldn't keep out of the way of the whole flurry of punches!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:48 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Mick Lenny!
