Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Chong Li (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jenji Ueda (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ueda is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Requiem for a Dream. Jenji Ueda has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Chong Li! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
15 - 7 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Jenji Ueda! The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Ren Mimura.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ueda gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. An uppercut to the body lands inside from Ueda. Ueda comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush. Li drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Ueda gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Ueda unloads a knee to the mid-section. Ueda lands a left hand.
Ueda lands a good knee to the midsection. Li won't want to take too many of those. Li drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Ueda gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Ueda lands a nice elbow from the clinch. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Ueda comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush. Li is looking for a takedown up against the ropes. Ueda gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Chong Li. That's going to take a lot out of him. Ueda lands a knee to the head.

That's one minute gone in the round. Li takes a knee to the side of the body. Li is breathing heavily. Li has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Ueda after a bit of a struggle. Ueda is defending well against a takedown attempt. Ueda comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush. A bit of stalling here from Ueda.

Ueda lands an elbow just above Li 's eye. Ueda unloads a knee to the mid-section. Li lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh. Ueda wants the takedown. Li is fighting it off but Ueda persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Li's guard against the ropes. This has been an exciting period of action! Ueda trying to control but Li is working from the bottom. Li avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Ueda accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Li wants to stand and escape but Ueda is having none of it. Li has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Ueda has passed into side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Li is trying to improve his position. Ueda trying to control the action but Li is working from the bottom. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Li is not in a great position here, taking some shots. Ueda cracks Li with a big elbow. Li tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Ueda wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Li regains half guard. Li is looking for a sweep. Ueda is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Li has hold of Ueda's hands but Ueda slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Ueda is trying to control the action in half guard but Li is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Li tries to roll over but Ueda keeps him under control. Ueda seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Li does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Li is trying to get back to full guard. Li manages to get to full guard.
Li keeping moving, preventing Ueda from controlling successfully. Ueda avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Li wants to hit a switch here but Ueda passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Li there!
That's four minutes gone in the round. BOOM! Ueda connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Li is trying desperately to improve position. Ueda avoids the attempt from Li to control. Li tries to get back to half guard but can't. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Li takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Ueda with a couple of short strikes. Ueda landing shots from mount. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jenji Ueda dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Li shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Ueda pinned against the ropes. Ueda gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Li throws a series of punches but Ueda avoids them all with ease. Li scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Ueda wants to get back to his feet. Li is looking for a kimura here.
Ueda is concentrating on defense, preventing Li from advancing position. Li trying to pass the guard but Ueda defending well. Li seems to be working for a kimura but Ueda defends the submission attempt. Li trying to pass the guard but Ueda defending well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ueda tries to kick Li off but Li keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Ueda gets full guard. Ueda wants to sweep here but Li controlling him for the moment. Li engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Li tries to free his leg and advance position but Ueda is retaining full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ueda is pulling down on Li's head to control his posture. Li trying to control but Ueda is working from the bottom.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Ueda fails in his attempt to clinch. Li throws a sloppy head kick and Ueda moves out of range easily. Li throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Ueda counters with a nice body kick. Ueda moves into range and clinches up with Li. Ueda stalling in the clinch.
Ueda scores a nice knee to the body.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Li takes an elbow to the forehead. Jenji Ueda seems to be working more effectively in the clinch in the fight so far. Ueda tries to work over Li's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Li drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Ueda gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Ueda with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head. Ueda with a knee to the head.
Li is rocked! Ueda lands a nice knee to the body. Oh Li is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Ueda throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges. Li seems to have got his legs back now. Li takes a knee right on the jaw!
Ueda has the Thai clinch. He lands a big knee to the head that stumbles Li - he's in trouble! Another big knee to the head from Ueda, and another! Li is out on his feet - the ref jumps in to save him and ends the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:38 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Knees). Jenji Ueda!
