The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

DeMauler fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Slater has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Slater shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

DeMauler lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
DeMauler moves in looking to clinch but Slater pushes him off.
