The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A slow jab from Kim misses its intended target.
Sanches misses with a body shot.
Sanches pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Kim gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Sanches.

It looks like Yedo Kim has been cut.
Sanches throws out a loose jab but Kim uses good head movement to avoid it.
Renato Sanches seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sanches throws a series of punches but Kim avoids them all with ease.
Sanches fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Kim.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
The fighters circle momentarily. Kim darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Sanches connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Kim momentarily.
A swing and a miss from Sanches.
Sanches's corner calls for a 1-2. Sanches obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Kim misses with a straight left.
Kim lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Kim walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Kim tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Sanches cracks the inside of Kim's front leg.
Kim really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Sanches sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.

Kim throws a sloppy head kick and Sanches moves out of range easily.

Kim takes a swing at Sanches's ribcage but misses.

and Kim counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Kim misses with a straight left.
Sanches throws a chopping leg kick but Kim manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Kim throws a quick inside leg kick.

Sanches misses with a body kick.
Kim dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Kim blocks a low kick nicely.
Sanches takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.

Sanches is rocked!
Kim dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Sanches. That did some damage!
Sanches is still on wobbly legs! Can Kim finish him?
Kim thumps Sanches with a low kick.
Sanches seems to have recovered his senses.
Kim throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Sanches.
Kim closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Sanches! Kim dives in looking to finish! Sanches is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
