Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 21 - 14 - 2, fighting out of Tokyo, Perry Cox!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jeff Munster!
The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Shigeki Fujiwara and Ren Mimura.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Left hook, right uppercut from Cox.


It looks like Jeff Munster has been cut.
Cox lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
A swing and a miss from Cox.
Good shot there by Cox.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Cox throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Munster sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Munster looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Cox tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Munster paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Cox loads up on a big right hand but Munster slips the punch.
Munster closes the distance and clinches up with Cox, looking for a takedown. Munster pushes Cox against the cage but Cox circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Cox tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Cox scoring well with a low kick there.
Cox on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Munster scoring well with a low kick there.
Cox moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Cox slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Munster moves forwards but Cox connects with a nice, crisp jab.

Munster scores with a takedown into Cox's guard.
Cox is looking to stand up but Munster isn't so interested in that idea.
Munster looking to sit in guard and control but Cox gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Cox has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Munster trying to control the position.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Cox is fighting to break Munster's control of his arms but Munster is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

Munster is looking to sinch up a triangle. Cox throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Munster's body to avoid the submission. Munster has instead reached around Cox's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Munster arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:37 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Jeff Munster!
A very excited looking Jeff Munster made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
