The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Steven Brown and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Abbott shoots in and drives through. Boytsov sprawls well.
Abbott tries to clinch up but Boytsov circles away and keeps his distance.
Boytsov lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
The fight stays on the outside here - Abbott looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Abbott looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Boytsov looks to land a combination but Abbott avoids it well.
Frank Abbott seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Boytsov misses with a series of wild punches.
Boytsov scores with a one two! Abbott had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Abbott takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

Boytsov throws a series of punches but Abbott moves out of range.
Boytsov tries to bum rush Abbott with a series of wild strikes but Abbott uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Abbott shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Boytsov as he avoids it easily.
Denis Boytsov has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Frank Abbott.
Boytsov misses with a jab, cross combination.
