Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Buck Hazzard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joe Deli (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Buck Hazzard! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Joe Deli! The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Joseph Jones and Anthony Taglia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hazzard moves into the clinch. Hazzard decides to pull guard. Deli thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Deli wants to get up but he can't break Hazzard's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Deli got a little sloppy there for a moment and Hazzard has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Deli has managed to get both his arms back between Hazzard's legs - danger averted. Deli wanted to stand there but Hazzard had control of the position. Deli is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first. Hazzard seems keen to control Deli's posture.
That's one minute gone in the round. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Hazzard is on top in guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Hazzard throwing strikes from guard but Deli blocks nicely. Hazzard loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Hazzard trying to control but Deli is working from the bottom.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Buck Hazzard. Deli throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Deli throws a shot from downtown. Hazzard moves away and avoids it. Deli scores with a jab to the head.
Hazzard closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Hazzard jumps guard but Deli stands there with Hazzard around his waist. Hazzard gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Deli is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Deli has decided to stand back up but his arm is trapped. Whilst he's worrying about his arm, Hazzard works to full guard. Deli advances position into side control!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Deli tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Deli is trying to get an arm triangle but Hazzard is defending well. Hazzard is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Hazzard knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Deli on the ground. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Deli wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Hazzard, who protects the arm well. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Buck Hazzard will probably get the nod. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Deli rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Hazzard moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Deli throws a combination that misses and Hazzard counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Deli thinking. Deli throws a right and a left that Hazzard avoids nicely. Hazzard shoots in looking for a takedown. Deli tries to sprawl out of it but Hazzard keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Deli manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Deli throws a series of punches but Hazzard avoids them all with ease. Hazzard shoots in but no luck this time. Deli throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Buck Hazzard is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Hazzard. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Buck Hazzard. That's going to take a lot out of him.

and Hazzard holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Hazzard is looking for a takedown. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Deli is trying to break the clinch but Hazzard is controlling him. Hazzard pushes Deli back against the cage and unloads with a body punch. Hazzard is looking for a takedown. Deli is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Hazzard keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Deli's efforts to push away. Deli is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Deli wants to stand up but Hazzard has a hold of him and won't allow it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Joe Deli showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

Deli throws an overhand right that lands on Hazzard's shoulder, as Hazzard tries to avoid the shot. Deli throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Hazzard swats away the attempt to clinch by Deli. Hazzard rushes Deli and presses him up against the cage. Hazzard breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Hazzard closes the distance and clinches up with Deli, looking for a takedown. Hazzard pushes Deli against the cage but Deli circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Deli swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Hazzard pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. A punch combination from Deli misses. Deli swings wildly with a couple of big hooks

Hazzard tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Deli smiles and moves away.

Deli prevents Hazzard from breaking the clinch. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Deli wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
