Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Luiz Soto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Herb Everyday (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Everyday's choice of entrance music: Eek A Mouse- the man and the mouse. Herb Everyday is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
15 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Luiz Soto! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
25 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Herb Everyday! The judges for this bout are , Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Soto blocks a leg kick. Soto scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Soto will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Soto fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Everyday to the ground. Soto is now in Everyday's guard. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Everyday tries to land a sweep but no joy. Soto controls from within his opponent's guard. Soto preventing the sweep. Everyday working a defensive guard here.
Everyday working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Soto doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Soto manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Everyday manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Soto manages to get himself to full guard.
Soto bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Everyday's guard.

Soto is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Soto is pushing down on Everyday's leg trying to pass to half guard. Everyday is fighting to maintain full guard but Soto has managed to sneak the leg through. Everyday trying to hold on to Soto's head to control him but Soto postures up.
Everyday might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Soto kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Everyday tries to roll over but Soto keeps him under control. Soto wants to take a breather but Everyday is having none of it.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Everyday ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Soto gets a takedown into half guard. Soto moves into full mount! Everyday won't be happy about that! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Soto trying to control but he's not successful this time.

Soto is looking to take a break and control but Everyday is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Everyday throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Luiz Soto is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Soto uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Everyday.
Herb Everyday seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Soto darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Everyday has hold of Soto's hands but Soto slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Soto slows the pace down in half guard. Soto wants to work for an arm triangle but Everyday is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Everyday has gone for a leg lock! Soto slips out almost immediately though and dives into Everyday's guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Soto loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. That's four minutes gone in the round. Soto shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Everyday sprawls well. Everyday wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Soto gets slowly back to his feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Luiz Soto. That's going to take a lot out of him. Soto looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Soto is defended easily by Everyday. Soto is trying hard to land a takedown here. Everyday sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Soto misses with a hook. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Everyday scores with a kick to the body.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Everyday can't find room to land a body shot as Soto controls the action.

That was a close second round but I would say that Luiz Soto will probably get the nod. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!

A head punch blocked on the inside by Soto. Soto turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Soto tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Soto has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Soto content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though. Soto trying to control the action but Everyday is working from the bottom. Everyday manages to work his way to half guard, despite Soto's best efforts.

Soto doesn't defend quickly enough and Everyday has managed to lock this one up! Can Soto escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Everyday on a fantastic submission victory.
